Wine & Spirits Masters was founded in 2017 by three people (Scott, Prash, and Phil) in the wine, spirits, and hospitality industry.

The three of us collectively had various certifications (CSW, CSS, WSET, CMS) but were dissatisfied with the textbooks and the way they presented the information. Basically, there was no help and we were left to ourselves wondering what questions might be on the exam or how to study for it.

So we formed an in-person study group for people who were studying for the CSW which continued for several months. Eventually, we took our own homemade materials online and the rest is history
